Johannes Kepler University Linz is a public university seated in Linz, Upper Austria. Founded in 1966, it is among the youngest universities in Austria. The University currently has a total of more than 18,000 students, which makes it one of the largest institutions of higher education in the state capital. Johannes Kepler University Linz breaks down into four faculties: the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Medicine. Prospective students are offered 19 Bachelor programs, two Diploma programs, 37 Master programs, five doctoral programs, and one PhD program. Culimating in a Diploma degree are the study programs “Law“, and “Business Education“. The PhD program can be taken in “Economics“. Moreover, the PhD program as well as two Bachelor and 15 Master programs are conducted in English. Johannes Kepler University’s educational offer is rounded off by various university courses in the subject areas of Law, Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Natural Sciences, as well as by postgraduate continuing education programs, which are offered in partnership with LIMAK Austrian Business School.
