The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, founded in 2009, is a public institution of higher education seated in Karlsruhe, Baden-Wuerttemberg. Almost 25,900 students are currently prepared for a successful career start based on 43 study courses in the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business Studies, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The scope of dual studies includes the study courses “Business Administration-Industry“, “Business Administration-International Business“, “Business Administration-Trade Fair, Congress and Event Management“, “Electrical Engineering“, “Information Technology“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Mechatronics“, “Project Engineering“, “Industrial Engineering“, “Applied Computer Science“, “Safety“ (specializations: Occupational Safety, Radiation Protection, Environmental Engineering), as well as “Business Information Systems“. The scope if continuing education studies includes the study courses “Refurbishment of Old Buildings“, and “HR Development – Vocational and Industrial Education“. Depending on the respective study course, graduates of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology receive a B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., B.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., or M.Eng. degree.
