Kempten University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1977, is a public university seated in Kempten, Bavaria. More than 6,000 students currently receive a scientifically founded education based on 18 Bachelor and 14 Master degree programs. The University accomodates seven faculties: the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Social and Health Studies, and the Faculty of Tourism.
