The dual “Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering” program at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences has a length of 7 semesters. The nature of the program enables students to gain theoretical knowledge while developing their practical skills and obtaining valuable professional experience. Students complete a 16-week practical phase and an 8-week bachelor's thesis after studying Construction planning, Concrete Technology, Civil Engineering Materials, Mathematics, Building Physics and Building construction, Urban Water Management and other subjects. A general higher education entrance qualification or the advanced technical college entrance qualification as well as an education recognized as equivalent are prerequisites for admission. Graduates can be employed in all areas of civil engineering.
