The certificate program “Financial Risk Management” program at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences aims to help students understand the various forms of entrepreneurial risks on the basis of case studies and theoretical principles and to develop the methods of modern risk management. Over the course of 2 semesters, students are taught Quantitative methods, Corporate governance, compliance and risk management, Portfolio theory, market risks and the valuation of derivatives, Regulatory foundations of the financial services sector, Management of financial risks and selected non-financial risks and other subjects. The course is especially designed for specialists and executives in the financial sector and in the areas of finance and risk management in other industries who want to take on senior management tasks.
