The dual “Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering” program at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is a practice-integrated degree in cooperation with companies, with a length of 8 academic semesters. During the practical phases, students learn to contribute their growing expertise as part of a software development team in a sustainable and value-adding way. In addition, they attend theoretical lectures at the university in order to deepen their knowledge. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it promotes the development of competent team players who can also look beyond the IT horizon. As part of the admission requirements, candidates must present a general higher education entrance qualification, advanced technical college entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent, and an internship and study contract with a training company.
