Landshut University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1978, is a public university seated in Landshut, Bavaria. With more than 5,000 students, it belongs to the largest institutions of higher education in Bavaria. The University is split up into six faculties: the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Electrical and Industrial Engineering, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. The range of studies offered includes undergraduate and consecutive degree courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, extra-occupational degree programs, certificate courses, and thematic modules. The extra-occupational courses on offer are the Bachelor courses “Business Administration“, “Engineering and Management“, and “Engineering and Management – Energy and Logistics“, as well as the Master courses “Process Management and Resource Efficiency“, “Value-Based Production Management“, “Systems and Project Management“, and “Applied Computational Mechanics“. Certificate courses are offered on the following topics: Integrated Experential Education, Project Management, and Project-oriented Business Management. Depending on the respective course of study, graduates of Landshut University of Applied Sciences obtain a B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., MBA, or MBA & Eng. degree.
