Description
The dual degree program “Bachelor of Science in IT Security” is offered by Leibniz University of Applied Sciences. It has a length of 6 semesters. The basics course is identical to all students. It includes the core subjects: Math and logic, Artificial intelligence basics, Cryptology and digital forensics, IT security systems, Digital technology and cloud computing and others. However, for the 5th and 6th semester, participants are able to set their own priorities within the framework of compulsory elective modules in Cryptography, Security engineering, Software development, Artificial intelligence and many more. In addition, depending on the major, this course offers either an introduction to security management tasks or an introduction to programming-related tasks. For enrollment, applicants are required to present a university entrance qualification in Lower Saxony and a training / study contract with a partner company.
