The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, founded in 1997, is a public university seated in Lucerne, Switzerland. It runs further study centers in Horw, Rotkreuz, and Zug. The University is comprised of six departments: the Department of Engineering and Architecture, the Department of Business, the Department of Information Technology, the Department of Social Work, the Department of Art & Design, as well as the Department of Music. It provides academic education to more than 6,000 students via 47 Bachelor and 31 Master degree programs.
