The doctorate program “Arabic Studies’’ is provided by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Its primary objective is to impart new academic knowledge and provide doctoral students with the opportunity to work on a research project. Thus, they can demonstrate the ability to independently perform scientific work. In order to receive a doctoral degree, participants will have to present their dissertation, pass an oral defense/ examination and publish their work in an academic journal.
