“Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics’’ is a six-semester study program provided at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The course is taught mainly in German, although some modules are also taught in English. Here, students will explore how computer science methods are applied in the life sciences. What is more, participants will also discuss various interesting topics and questions related to medicine, pharmaceutical research and biology. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can either continue with a Master’s degree or seek career prospects in industrial research, the pharmaceutical industry, molecular medicine or in young biotechnology companies.
