The extension state examination program in “Biology’’ is offered by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Its primary objective is to prepare students for the challenges and tasks of the teaching profession. Here, they will acquire key competencies in biology and pedagogy. Participants will take modules in General and Organismic Biology, Physiology, Methods of Physiology as well as Methods of Organismic Biology. Furthermore, they will also be able to choose elective modules. Graduates will be qualified to work as biology teachers at comprehensive schools.
