Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich offers the doctorate study program in “Chinese Archaeology’’. This study course, which usually lasts three years, is designed for postgraduate students who want to expand their academic expertise in the subject of Chinese archaeology. Furthermore, participants will also be required to work on the development of a research project in which they will be able to use the new knowledge they have already gained. Students must submit their dissertation in front of a committee, pass an oral examination, and publish their work in an academic journal at the conclusion of their study. The title of Dr.phil. shall be conferred on graduates.
