The doctoral course "Didactics of History" at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich aims to deepen and broaden students' knowledge and competencies in ancient history. It provides students with advanced academic knowledge and allows them to work independently on a research project. Participants must select a dissertation topic related to the course as well as a mentor to assist them with the writing process. Students improve their critical thinking, research, analyzing, writing, communication, problem-solving, and didactic abilities. Students must have a completed Master's degree to apply. Graduates receive advanced education and the opportunity to publish their dissertation work.
