The program “Master of Arts in Dramaturgy” at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has a length of four semesters. The goal of the course is to provide students with the fundamentals of dramaturgical work in drama or music theatre. The training concentrates on dramaturgical work for the performing arts. The curriculum consists of four compulsory modules including a seminar, a colloquium to develop and support projects, a course project and a field trip. To apply, prospective students must present a relevant bachelor’s degree. Graduates pursue a career in theatres, media, film, television, project management and other areas.
