The doctoral course “Ethnology” is available at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. It aims to further expand student’s knowledge by creating a scientific research project under the form of dissertation. Participants select a topic for their dissertation related to their studies and a supervisor to help them through the whole writing process. In addition, the program provides doctoral candidates with conferences, seminars and workshops. To apply, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Ethnology. Graduates can publish their dissertation and establish a career in academia.
