Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich offers the double degree program “Master of Science in Financial and Insurance Mathematics” with a duration of four semesters. It is conducted in cooperation with the University of Evry, and the University of Bologna. This course is ideal for those who are interested in both mathematics and business science, and would like to deepen their theoretical knowledge. In addition, students will also participate in an internship program abroad, and gain further experience. Some of the main subjects includes Linear Algebra, Theory of Functions, Geometry, Cryptography, Functional Analysis, Applied Financial Mathematics. By the end of their studies, participants will learn new mathematical theories and methods, and are able to apply them in practice, when dealing with complex issues.
