The study program “Bachelor of Arts in General and Comparative Literature’’ is provided by Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Over the course of six semesters, prospective students will explore literary processes and their various facets. Participants will explore and investigate many different languages in a historical context as well as their history, present and future. The curriculum for this discipline comprises of a main subject in General and Comparative Literature and a minor subject that is studies from the first to the fifth semester. In addition, students will also participate in basic and specific seminars, reading courses and lectures. Graduates will be qualified to pursue careers as authors, translators, or in the fields of journalism, cultural management, and more.
