Description
The program “Master of Science in Geobiology and Paleobiology” at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has a duration of four semesters and is taught in English. The goal of the course is to provide students with the fundamentals of geobiology and paleobiology. The curriculum includes the modules of Paleobiology, Evolutionary Geobiology, Environmental Geobiology, Data Analysis, Laboratory Methods, Research Project, Evolution and Ecology and Scientific Presentation and Communication. Students develop a wide range of scientific methods and techniques in molecular biology, fieldwork, collection management, bioinformatics, statistics and biodiversity assessments. To apply, candidates must present a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Biology, Physical Geography or equivalent, and a C1 level in English.
