The study course “Master of Science in Geophysics” offered by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich is with a duration of four semesters and is taught in the English language. By entering the program, students have the chance to explore theoretical lectures such as Mathematical Geophysics, Statistical Geophysics, Advanced Geophysics, Scientific Programming. They will also choose between three different specializations. Goal of the course is to teach participants different modern geophysical concepts, how to analyze statistical data and use scientific methods in practice. Upon successful completion, graduates are prepared for career at universities, research institutions and much more.
