The teacher training course in ‘’German (Grammar School Teacher Training)’’ is provided by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Its duration could be of a minimum of eight semesters or a maximum of nine semesters. By enrolling in this program, students will explore several sub-subjects related to the German language. The latter include namely German linguistics, German literature, Germanic Medieval Studies as well as German didactics. Graduates will be qualified to teach German as a subject in grammar schools.
