The model study course "Master of Science in Prevention, Inclusion and Rehabilitation (PIR) – Deaf Education" at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich lasts four semesters. The program builds on the knowledge and competencies acquired from the undergraduate degree. The syllabus contains Didactics and methodology in the specialization of Hearing - pedagogy of the hearing impaired, empirical research methods, Primary school pedagogy, design of educational processes in elementary school, German didactics, and other modules. Applicants must have a relevant bachelor’s degree to submit. Graduates start careers as rehabilitation specialists, rehabilitation technicians, health insurance consultants, rehabilitation facility managers and health insurance consultants.
