The study course “Master of Arts in Provincial Roman Archaeology” at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich is four semesters long. The program aims to examine the history, culture and civilization of the provinces of the Roman Empire. The syllabus includes Seminar Provincial Roman Archaeology, History and culture of an Alpine and Danube province, Basics of techniques of provincial Roman archaeology, prehistoric and early historical archaeology, Classical Archaeology and other subjects.
