The study course "Master of Arts in Religious and Cultural Studies" at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has a continuation of four semesters. The training aims to provide students with a thorough knowledge of religion and culture. The language of instruction is German and English. The curriculum includes the compulsory subjects of Fundamentals of Cultural Studies and Religious Studies, History of Religions and Ideas, Media and Aesthetics of Religion, Society, Politics and Religion, Research, and a final module. To apply, prospective students must have a completed bachelor’s degree. Graduates pursue a career in intercultural counseling centers, international companies and organizations, authorities, media, journalism, cultural management and other more.
