The program ‘Master of Arts in Sociology’’ at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has a length of four semesters. It aims to deepen the already acquired general knowledge and skills from the bachelor’s degree. There are three options from which students must choose to focus: "Social Theory and Contemporary Diagnosis", "Culture, Gender, Difference" or "Quantitative Inequality Research." To apply, candidates must present a bachelor’s degree and pass successfully an aptitude test. Graduates find career prospects in organizations, consulting and marketing, human resources, as well as media and culture.
