The program “Master of Arts in Speech Therapy” at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has a continuation of four semesters. It is designed to provide academic speech therapists with further training in the area of scientific research. The curriculum includes Evaluation and quality management, phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics- In-depth issues, early detection and prevention of written language acquisition disorders, and other topics. To apply, prospective students must present a bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy. Graduates become high-level speech therapists and start working in healthcare institutions, public health organizations, rehabilitation centres, research institutions and other opportunities.
