Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences is offering a dual, seven-semester, Bachelor of Science study course “Midwifery Science”. The aim of the practice-oriented program is to teach participants how to provide help and support to pregnant women, and their families. In addition, students are also able to advise them in the period of pregnancy to breastfeeding. Curriculum includes various theoretical lectures such as Develop Professional Identity, Designing Effective Care Services, Physiology in the Life Stage of Pregnancy, Promoting Women's and Family Health, Out-of-hospital Care Situations. Students will also take part in practical internship and gain additional experience. Successful completion of the program leads to a wide range of career opportunities in the field of healthcare.
