The Bachelor of Arts program “Social Work” which is offered by the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences is with a duration of six semesters. The aim of the course is to provide students with solid social and methodological competencies. They learn how to manage carious social problems and situations. After their fifth semester, participants will choose between eight different areas to focus on. Students will also complete an internship program, where they can gain additional professional experience. Upon successful completion of their studies, graduates can find professional career in non-profit and private organizations, health and rehabilitation centers, in cultural education and others.
