The new study program “Bachelor of Science in Nursing Care” at Lutheran University of Applied Sciences is designed to prepare students for professional nursing career and the scientifically supported further development of nursing practice. The program lasts seven semesters and offers an internship abroad. The course concentrates on clinical practice in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, outpatient nursing services and nursing homes. The curriculum includes the study of health and nursing sciences, medicine, psychology, law, ethics and practical exercises in a simulation laboratory. Students develop technical, methodological and analytical skills to best help people in need of all ages. To apply, students need to have a successful professional qualification in the nursing profession. The admission requirements needed are a completed general or thematic university qualification and a vocational qualification. on through research or a position in a government organization.
