The “Bachelor of Arts in Special Needs Education” program at Lutheran University of Applied Sciences focuses on scientific knowledge and methods in areas of special education practice that include troubled children, children with disabilities, and working with older adults or dementia patients with and without disabilities. The course has a length of seven semesters and an internship. Students learn how to analyze and examine theories and research findings in the field of special education and related sciences, evaluating and developing their practical experiences.
