The “Bachelor of Arts in Design: Photography and Moving Images” program at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences covers all fields of photography – from art photography, staged photography and photo documentation to video and 3D concepts. Over the course of 6 or 7 semesters, students are taught Types of Photography (Artistic, Documentary, Staged), Systems, Art and cultural history, Film technology and software, Illustration and other subjects. A university entrance qualification and a specifically created portfolio are part of the entry requirements. Graduates are able to work as photo designers, visual artists, picture editors, music video artists, filmmakers and more.
