The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design”, offered by Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in English and German, is suitable for motivated individuals with special creative talent and passion for fashion design. It combines studies with real-life practical experiences in the fashion industry. Students take part in collaborative projects with Macromedia University’s partners, one of which is the well-known Atelier Chardon Savard which the university has 30 years history with. Additionally, their individual development, supported by the lectures and their intensive work within teams on various projects, prepares them to launch their careers. During the course, students develop their own collection which they are given a chance to present to the public at the annual fashion show. Graduate fashion lovers’ ability to anticipate the market demands and trends meet the current industry’s requirements. They work as designers, fashion journalists at a magazine, freelance fashion designers, coordinators in a fashion label.
