The “Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television: Post-production” program at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences is a full-time study program. Over the course of 6 or 7 semesters, students learn everything about the design and theoretical basics as well as analog and digital techniques in order to give a film its final dramaturgy, tempo, form and rhythm with editing, scoring, music and mixing. Basics of Sound Editing, VFX, Motion Design, Section Analysis, Grading and many other practical subjects are included in the course curriculum. A university entrance qualification and work samples are part of the entry requirements. Some of the positions graduates can occupy include post-production supervisor, VFX artist, colorist, sound designer and more.
