Description
The “Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology & Food Engineering” program at MCI Management Center Innsbruck is primarily concerned with the development and manufacturing of products for the health, food, and environmental protection sectors. With its strong interdisciplinary focus, the program combines biosciences with chemical science and food engineering. During the 6 semesters, students learn to understand, revise, and optimize processes in biotechnology and food technology from the genetic foundations to the final product. With its focus on process engineering, the program enables students to convert bio scientific laboratory findings into full-scale industrial processes. Admission requirements include a university entrance qualification or relevant professional qualification with additional exams.
