The “Master of Science in Biotechnology” program at MCI Management Center Innsbruck is with a length of 4 semesters. Assuming basic training in a relevant discipline, such as biotechnology or biology, the program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, revise, and optimize biotechnological processes, from the genetic foundations to the final product. Bioprocess Engineering & Cell Culture Technology, Molecular Biology & Physiology, Plant & Food Biotechnology, Upstream Processing & Pharmaceutical Technology, Downstream Processing, Biostatistics & Scientific Methods, Biopharma & Diagnostics and other subjects are included in the curriculum. As part of the admission requirements, candidates need to present a Bachelor or equivalent degree in relevant studies or studies comprising a certain level of relevant ECTS points.
