The Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2006 as a result of a merger, is a public university seated in Mannheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg. Round about 5,300 students are enrolled there in study programs at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. The University accomodates nine faculties: the Faculty of Biotechnology, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Social Affairs, the Faculty of Process and Chemical Engineering, and the Faculty of Engineering and Management.
