Medical School Berlin, founded in 2012 and seated in Berlin (Siemens Mansion House), is a state-approved private institution of higher education that currently accomodates almost 900 students. It is organized into two faculties: the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The two faculties‘ educational offer comprises Bachelor and Master degree programs in Health and Medicine. While the programs offered at the Faculty of Natural Sciences are more strongly oriented to science and scientific methods, the programs offered at the Faculty of Health Sciences are largely application- and practice-oriented. The Faculty of Natural Sciences provides the Bachelor degree program “Psychology“ (B.Sc.), as well as the Master degree programs “Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy“ (M.Sc.), “Medical Education“ (M.A., part-time), and “Law Psychology“ (M.Sc., double degree program). On offer at the Faculty of Health Science, which has the status of a university of applied sciences, offers the Bachelor degree programs “Special Education“ (B.A.), “Medical Controlling and Management“ (B.Sc.), “Medical Research and Management“ (B.Sc.), “Medical Education“ (B.A., part-time) and “Social Work“ (B.A.), as well as the Master degree program “Social Work“ (M.A.). Moreover, the Faculty of Health Sciences provides the opportunity for studying without an A-level qualification.
