The “Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Media Education” program at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. The course combines the content, approaches and methods of cultural and media education in a face-to-face manner, through interdisciplinary work, project orientation and a close connection between theory and practice. The course is divided into six areas that are concluded with an artistic or practical media work as well as with a scientific Bachelor’s thesis. Admission requirements include a university entrance qualification or equivalent, or completed vocational training in connection with three years of professional experience and a passed assessment test.
