Description
The dual “Master of Arts in Sexology” program at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 part-time semesters. The course is based on the model of sexual health Sexocorporel, along with other theoretical principles, adopting a theory-based, body-oriented approach. Basics of interdisciplinary sexology, Scientific action and work, Sexocorporel, Partnership, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Sex counseling and other subjects are part of the curriculum. The program explores how sexual experience and behavior can be developed over a lifetime through personal and social learning processes. Admission requirements include a relevant Bachelor’s degree in a human sciences course such as social work, social pedagogy, pedagogy, teaching, psychology, medicine or related courses, and at least one year of practical experience in a comparable field.
