The full-time program “Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering” at Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences lasts three semesters. The course is conducted both in German and English. The program strives to prepare students to research and develop methods and systems for the early detection, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation of diseases. The curriculum includes biomedical functional materials, applied physiology and medical device design, ethics, law and technology assessment, neuroprosthetics/neurophysics and more. Students develop engineering thinking, methodological skills and a good understanding of biomedical problems and tasks. The admission requirement is a completed bachelor's degree.
