The “Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Hygiene and Safety Engineering” program at Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences lasts for seven semesters. The course aims to protect people and the environment, which is becoming increasingly polluted over time. Therefore, the program focuses on decreasing the negative impact on the environment. During the training, students gain skills that make them water conservation coordinator, occupational safety coordinator, and sampler to monitor compliance with the Drinking Water Ordinance. The curriculum encompasses subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Introduction to the study and professional field of UHSI and Fluid Mechanics and Technical Thermodynamics. Graduates become generalists, and that allows them to pursue various career prospects.
