The “Master of Science in Insect Biotechnology and Bioresources” program at Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences lasts for four semesters and is taught entirely in English. The program focuses on insects and the micro and macroorganisms associated with them, as emerging bioresources for medicine, plant protection, pharmacy, industrial food and biotechnology. The course curriculum is based on compulsory and profile modules and finally is the Master thesis. The applicants should have a completed bachelor’s degree in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Food Chemistry, and English proficiency. Graduates have such knowledge that they could find a career in the agricultural industry, biomedicine, pharmacy, food biotechnology and the healthcare sector.
