The program “Master of Science in Mathematics for Finance, Insurance and Management” at Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences lasts four semesters. The program concentrates on business mathematics, mathematical foundations, new methods and procedures relevant for the three specialities: finance, insurance and management. The course includes Measure and integration theory, Time series analysis and stochastic processes, Derivatives, Nonlinear and stochastic optimization, Multivariate data analysis and others. Graduates can start a job at banks, insurance companies, consulting firms, and auditing firms, planning and management accounting departments at companies, in the public sector and research departments. The admission requirement is a completed bachelor degree.
