Modul University Vienna, founded in 2007, is a private university seated in Vienna, Austria with round about 600 students. It is sponsored by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, among others. The University is comprised of five departments: the Department of Applied Statistics and Economics, the Department of International Management, the Department of New Media Technology, the Department of Public Governance and Sustainable Development, as well as the Department of Tourism and Service Management. On offer are study opportunities at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level. Offered at Bachelor’s level are the study programs “Tourism Management“ (BBA), “Hotel Management“ (BBA), “Event Management“ (BBA), “Hotel Management and Operations“ (BBA), “International Management“ (B.Sc.), “Interactive Marketing“ (B.Sc.), as well as “Entrepreneurship and Governance“ (B.Sc.). At Master’s level, the University offers the study programs “Management“ (M.Sc.), “International Tourism“ (M.Sc.), and “Sustainable Development“ (M.Sc.), as well as the MBA programs “Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership“, “Tourism and Hotel Development“, “New Media and Information Management“, “Public Governance & Sustainable Development“, as well as “Real Estate and Hotel Development“. In addition, Modul University Vienna provides the PhD program “Business and Socioecomomic Sciences“. All study programs are carried out in English.
