The university course “Children's and Youth Choir Conducting” is offered in cooperation between the Mozarteum University of Salzburg and the Vienna Boys Choir. It is with a length of four semesters. This course is aimed at providing long-term enhancement of both vocal and choral work. It is primarily oriented towards the particular needs of the practical field. By doing so, the course explores the diverse range of requirements for work with young children. Students will acquire competences to deal with demands as well as matters in a responsible, enduring manner. An emphasis is also placed upon the handling, organizing and planning of choral work.
