The program “Bachelor in Clarinet” is offered by the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. It is with a length of eight semesters. Students obtain practical experience alongside with artistic and scientific abilities. They learn to evaluate and analyze music from all epochs. The program imparts a career-oriented training. In order to access the Bachelor’s degree, prospective students must pass an enrolment examination. It consists of basic knowledge of the general music theory exam, elementary piano or harpsichord playing as well as instrumental audition.
