The training program “Certificate of Performance (CoP) Accordion” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time course with a duration of two semesters. This program is ideal for musical professionals who wish to acquire artistic skills in the field of accordion playing without having to study for three years. The multidisciplinary approach of the program allows participants to develop additional artistic practices by following the corresponding module. Some of the elective courses that students could follow are namely “Advanced Theoretical Courses”, “Self-management”, “Professional Skills” and “Performance Coaching”. This way participants do not only gain expertise in their professional field but are also provided with the possibility to work on their development as musicians.
