The study program “Master of Arts in Accordion” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards Bachelor of Arts graduates who wish to deepen their expertise in the subject matter. The four-pillar thematic focus of the Master’s program allows participants to obtain fundamental understandings of conducting and composing musical pieces on the accordion. The core themes of the program are, ‘’General Artistic Practise’’, ‘’Historical Approach’’, ‘’Chamber Music’’ and ‘’Contemporary Music Performances’’. Throughout their studies, students are provided with the opportunity to organize and participate in various (solo) concerts.
