The university course “Classical Operette” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time course with a duration of two semesters. The training program operates in collaboration with the Centre for Science and Research at the MUK. The aim of it is to explore academically the recent development of contemporary art forms of musical theatre. Both the theoretical and practical teaching approach of the program enable participants to build an initial solo and ensemble repertoire. At the end of the academic year, students are provided with the opportunity to present their work at the Podium Operette.
