The study program “Master of Arts in Composition” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program is ideal for postgraduates who wish to pursue a professional career as musical composers. The Master’s program aims to provide students with the fundamentals of composing a musical piece by becoming familiar with the various aspects of creating it. In addition, in order for a musical composition to be completed, participants must also be prepared to acquire competencies in other artistic disciplines, such as dance, literature and visual arts.
